Admission Results and Announcement for International Students for Academic Year 2020-2021

1. The applicant can log in the Online Application System to download the letter of acceptance, waiting-list or non-acceptance in PDF form from May 19, 2020, 3pm to June 7, 2020, 11:59pm (Taiwan time).
2. If the applicant needs the hard copy of the letter, please email the OIC (intladm@nccu.edu.tw). Chunghwa Post has suspended airmail delivery to 113 countries. Please see the attachment for the list of affected countries.  
3. For the accepted students, please read the “NCCU Admission Notice for International Students for 2020-2021 Academic Year” (available in the Online Registration System ) thoroughly and follow the instructions to complete the verification of the educational documents and registration.
To accept our offer of admission, the newly admitted students need to complete the online registration and print out and sign the “Registration Form.” Please upload the signed Registration Form, a passport photo, with photocopies of the educational documents verified by related offices (including the diploma of highest academic degree and full academic transcripts; those with a bachelor’s degree or higher from schools in mainland China specifically recognized by the Ministry of Education in Taiwan are also required to provide the certificate of degree conferral) to the Online Registration Website by 11:59 pm, June 17, 2020 (Wed) (Taiwan time).
Those who fail to complete the online registration or upload the required documents by the deadline will forfeit their candidacy for admission. The admission offers will be given to  applicants on the waiting list, as stipulated by the regulations.
Online Registration System (available at 10am, May 26, 2020, Taiwan time): The Online Registration System is the SAME as the Online Application System. Thus, please log in to the Registration System (the system you apply NCCU admission) for registration at the above mentioned time. 
Please log in the Online Registration System earlier to fill out information and upload the files, so that you will not miss the deadline.
4. The original copy of the required educational documents verified by the related offices should be submitted on the Enrollment Day. The authenticated documents will be returned after verification. Failure to provide the above-mentioned documents on the Enrollment Day will affect the registration process. Due to the spread of COVID-19, the OIC will email information for the Enrollment Day to the admitted students on a later date. .
5. Information about the orientation, registration, and course selection for international students will be posted on the International Admission website or sent via email. Please visit the International Admission website or check your email for the latest announcements.
6. If you are accepted by more than one departments/graduate institutes/programs, please complete the procedure of accepting one admission offer before the deadline. The regulations are as follows:
(a) Accepted by more than one departments/graduate institutes/programs: You can accept only one offer. After you accept the offer, the other admission offers will be cancelled automatically.

(b) Accepted by more than one departments/graduate institutes/programs and on the waiting list for more than one departments/graduate institutes/programs: You can accept only one offer.  After you complete the procedure of accepting the offer, the other admission offers will be cancelled automatically. If you decline the admission offer and decide to stay on the waiting list for another department/graduate institute/program, you may not receive the admission offer later if you are not taken off the waiting list.

(c) On the waiting list for more than one departments/graduate institutes/programs: You can accept only one offer on the waiting list.  After you complete the procedure of accepting one offer, the other admission offers on the waiting list will be cancelled automatically. If you decline one admission offer and decide to stay on the waiting list for another department/graduate institute/program, you may not receive the admission offer later if you are not taken off the waiting list.
7. According to the regulation of the Ministry of Education (MOE), NCCU will provide the list of the admitted students who have dual citizenship (both foreign and R.O.C) to the MOE to verify that these admitted students have never held household registration in Taiwan. The admission will be revoked if these admitted applicants have ever held household registration in Taiwan.
8. The admission from NCCU does not guarantee the student will be a recipient of the Taiwan ICDF scholarship. Only applicants who receive the award letters issued by the Taiwan ICDF are the scholarship recipients.
