Notice for the Elite Scholarship Recipients
- The Elite Scholarship is renewable for 3 years for students enrolling in the Ph.D. programs and 2 years for students enrolling in the Master’s programs. The recipients must meet the criteria as listed in the notes below. The scholarship includes tuition waiver and a monthly stipend of NTD15,000.
- The Office of International Cooperation (OIC) at NCCU will inform new international students of the registration details via email on a later day. The Elite Scholarship recipients are required to complete the registration procedure every semester to avoid cancellation of the scholarship.
- The Elite Scholarship recipients should not download registration bills and credit fee bills at NCCU website or First Bank website. The recipients MUST pick up their bills at the OIC.
- The scholarship will be cancelled if the recipients are also awarded with the following scholarships: Taiwan Scholarships (MOE, MOFA and ICDF), scholarship offered by other government institutions, and tuition waiver offered by NCCU or other non-NCCU entities.
- The recipients are NOT allowed to receive New International Student Tuition Waiver and NCCU New International Student Scholarship, should they have gotten an award notice from those scholarships.
- The recipients are not eligible to apply for NCCU Academic Excellence Scholarship during the offered period of this scholarship.
- The recipients must achieve a minimum average semester mark of 80 percent in the previous semester in order to receive the tuition waiver for the following semester.
- The scholarship will be cancelled if the recipients apply for an in-school deferment, in-school suspension, or get expelled from the enrolled programs.
