Notice for Fall 2020 New International Student Tuition Waiver Recipients

  • Award recipients will receive a full or half tuition waiver for two (2) to four (4) years. Please refer to the recipient list for the offer. The waiver will cover tuition and credit fees.
  • Please read the “NCCU Admission Notice for International Students 2020-2021 Academic Year” thoroughly. To accept our offer of admission, please upload the required documents to the Online Registration Website by 11:59 pm, June 17, 2020 (Wed) (Taiwan Time).
  • As there is still uncertainty with the development of COVID-19 pandemic, the Office of International Cooperation (hereafter, “OIC”) will inform all international students regarding registration details via email on a later day. The tuition waiver recipients are also required to pay the registration fee before the deadline every semester. Otherwise, the tuition waiver will be cancelled.
  • The registration fee bills for tuition waiver recipients CANNOT be downloaded from NCCU website or First Bank website. The recipients MUST pick up their registration fee bills personally at the OIC and pay at the Cashier Section, prior to the registration fee payment deadline every semester.
  • Notes:
  1. The waiver will be cancelled if the recipients are awarded with the following scholarships: Taiwan Scholarship, full scholarship offered by other government institutions, tuition waiver offered by NCCU or other non-NCCU entities.
  2. The recipients are allowed to choose from receiving either this scholarship or NCCU New International Student Scholarship, should they have gotten award notice from both scholarships. 
  3. The recipients are not eligible to receive the NCCU Academic Excellence Scholarship for International Students during the offered period of this scholarship.
  4. Graduate students should maintain an academic grade of 80 or above in the previous semester in order to receive the tuition waiver for the following semester. 

            ​​​​​Undergraduate students should maintain an academic grade of 75 or above in the previous semester in order to receive the tuition waiver for the following semester.

  1. The scholarship will be cancelled if the recipients apply for a deferment, suspension, or get expelled from the enrolled programs.
