Notice for Stage-1 Admission of the 2024 New International Student Tuition Waiver Recipients

  1. Award recipients will receive a full tuition waiver. Please refer to the recipient list for the offer. The waiver will cover tuition and credit fees.
  2. Please carefully review the "NCCU Stage-1 2024 Admission Notice for International Students." To accept our offer of admission, kindly upload the required documents to the Online Application System by 5 pm on December 8, 2023 (Friday). Failure to submit the necessary documents by the specified deadline will result in the forfeiture of your candidacy for a scholarship. The  Office of International Cooperation (hereafter referred to as "OIC") will allocate the forfeited scholarship to the candidate at the top of the waiting list on two rounds. The recipients will be notified via email on December 15, 2023 (Friday) and August 9, 2024 (Friday), respectively. If admitted students register for the Spring semester of 2024, they are not qualified to participate in the second round of allocations. Please note that the mentioned times are based on Taiwan local time.
  3. The OIC will notify all international students of registration details via email before the semester begins. To complete registration, recipients of tuition waivers must pay the remaining fees on their registration bills (e.g., insurance fee, information appliance fee, dormitory fee) before the payment deadline. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of the tuition waiver.
  4. The registration fee bills CANNOT be downloaded from the NCCU website or First Bank website. Recipients MUST personally pick up their registration fee bills at the OIC and make payments at the Cashier Section before the registration fee payment deadline each semester.
  5. If one of the following situations occurs to a scholarship recipient during the scholarship period, the offer will be canceled:
  • Acceptance of a full scholarship offered by Taiwan government institutions or NCCU.
  • Violation of NCCU rules and regulations, resulting in a reprimand or higher disciplinary action.
  • The recipient's previous semester grade average is lower than 80 points for master's and doctoral students, or lower than 75 points for bachelor students. Colleges, departments, institutes, and programs with higher standards may adhere to their own regulations.
  • Suspension, withdrawal or retention of student status.
  1. Scholarship recipients are not allowed to apply for the NCCU Academic Excellence Scholarship for International Students.
  2. For detailed information regarding the scholarship, recipients should consult the 'National Chengchi University Tuition Waiver Scholarship Guidelines for International Students'

We wish you a successful and pleasant stay at NCCU!

Sincerely,
Office of International Cooperation
