1. The applicant can log in to the Online Application System (Please make sure to log in from this link, or you may not be able to access the system.) to download the letter of acceptance, waitlist notification or letter of non-acceptance in PDF form. To support environmental conservation efforts, waitlist notification and letter of non-acceptance will not be sent in paper form. Please log in to the system to check for these notifications on your own.
2. The admission letter for accepted students will be sent out in hard copy to the mailing address you provided, starting after December 14th 2025, if you do not get the mails after January 14 2026, please kindly notify us at (nccugrad@nccu.edu.tw).
3. To accept our offer of admission, the newly admitted students need to complete the online registration through the Online Application System by 5 pm, Dec 5, 2025 (GMT+8).
Those who fail to complete the online registration or upload the required documents by the deadline will forfeit their candidacy for admission. The admission offers will be given to applicants on the waiting list, as stipulated by the regulations.
4. The 2025 Spring admission is limited to designated degree-seeking postgraduate programs only. Applicants for Spring admission, regardless of whether the Spring admission declaration form was submitted at the time of application, are required to upload the form to the online system by the registration deadline (December 5, 2025). Applications submitted after the deadline or without the required form attached at the time of online registration will not be processed. For enrollment in the 2026 Spring semester, applicants must submit a verified diploma (graduation date no later than January 31, 2026), official transcripts, and related documents by February 10, 2026, and complete tuition payment by the designated deadline. Applicants who fail to satisfy the above requirements or are not eligible for Spring admission shall enroll in the Fall 2026 semester instead.
5. Applicants who failed to submit language proficiency test results during the application period or did not meet the department's language requirements must submit the language proficiency test by June 30, 2026. Failure to do so within the specified deadline may result in the cancellation of their admission eligibility. Those wishing to apply for Spring admission must submit language proficiency certification by February 10, 2026. Failure to complete this requirement will disqualify them from early admission, and they should plan to start in September 2026. Additionally, they must submit the language proficiency test by June 30, 2026, to maintain their eligibility for admission in September 2026.
6. Information about the orientation, registration, and course selection for international students will be sent via email. Please check your email for the latest announcements.
7. If you are accepted by more than one departments/graduate institutes/programs, please complete the procedure of accepting one admission offer before the deadline. The regulations are as follows:
(a) Accepted by more than one departments/graduate institutes/programs: You can accept only one offer. After you accept the offer, the other admission offers will be cancelled automatically.
(b) Accepted by more than one departments/graduate institutes/programs and on the waiting list for more than one departments/graduate institutes/programs: You can accept only one offer. After you complete the procedure of accepting the offer, the other admission offers will be cancelled automatically. If you decline the admission offer and decide to stay on the waiting list for another department/graduate institute/program, you may not receive the admission offer later if you are not taken off the waiting list.
(c) On the waiting list for more than one departments/graduate institutes/programs: You can accept only one offer on the waiting list. After you complete the procedure of accepting one offer, the other admission offers on the waiting list will be cancelled automatically. If you decline one admission offer and decide to stay on the waiting list for another department/graduate institute/program, you may not receive the admission offer later if you are not taken off the waiting list.
7. According to the regulation of the Ministry of Education (MOE), NCCU will provide the list of the admitted students who have dual citizenship (both foreign and R.O.C) to the MOE to verify that these admitted students have never held household registration in Taiwan. The admission will be revoked if these admitted applicants have ever held household registration in Taiwan.
