Verification of academic diplomas and transcripts
For degrees conferred by schools in Taiwan, no verification is required.
For degrees conferred in foreign countries (excluding schools in Hong Kong, Macau, and mainland China), diplomas and full academic transcripts must be verified by the Taiwan Economic and Cultural Representative Office (TECRO) in the country where the school is located. For original documents in languages other than Chinese or English, provide Chinese or English translations for additional verification by TECRO.
For degrees conferred by MOE-recognized schools in Hong Kong or Macau, please see the “Academic Credential Verification and Accreditation Methods Adopted in Hong Kong and Macao” for relevant requirements.
For degrees conferred by MOE-recognized schools in mainland China, please see the “Regulations Governing the Accreditation of Schools in Mainland China” for relevant requirements.
Submit original documents with clear photocopies for verification (otherwise the verification stamps will be applied to your original documents). Photocopies bearing verification stamps will be treated as verified originals by the relevant authorities.
